Green tea vs Glowing skin

We all know that green tea is great at cleansing the body , making you feel fresher and healthier, however the benefits  of  this steaming concoction are not only restricted to the internal workings of the human body but it also can be used for its many beauty benefits!  HAIR tells you how to make the best of this beverage.


1.  As a toner :
You’d be surprised to know that green tea can be used as a toner for the skin. The easiest way to turn green tea into a toner is to brew two cups of green tea, let it cool, pour it into a spray bottle and add in your favourite essential oil. There you have it! This toner will leave you with cool, refreshed and youthful looking skin!
 2. As a face mask :
If you find yourself to be a victim of sudden breakouts or redness and irritation of the skin, then green tea can help you out!  Just take two bags of green tea, place them in a bowl, add an equal amount of baking powder to the same and some honey and apply in on your face. Let it sit for five to ten minutes and then wash off to get a fresh glow.
 3. As a facial scrub :
Tired of using chemical peels and scrubs that rip your skin off of essential oils and leave it dry and itchy? A green tea scrub is the answer you’re looking for! Brew one cup of green tea and let it cool, add three teaspoons of granulated sugar and pour honey into till you reach your desired consistency. This will work wonders for your skin.
4. As a hair mask:
Rinsing your hair with green tea will give you the kind of shine that most of desire. Take a couple of green tea bags, put them in water and boil the water for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Leave it overnight, next morning pour this water over damp hair and leave it in for about 10 minutes. Apply shampoo later. This will give  shiny, bouncy and voluminous hair.
5. Think twice before discarding used tea bags:
Instead, let the used tea bags cool down and place them on your eyes before you go to sleep to wake up a to a more radiant glow in the morning, with all puffiness eliminated!
